 How to sign up?

Head to our REGISTRATION page and choose the plan that works for you this season!

Boys are also encouraged to join, we do not have a separate boys practice at the moment so they will be mixed in with girls at their skill level. For tournaments, (unless it is a specified boy’s event) they have to play one age group up.

For families with multiple kids joining, we offer a sibling discount so be sure and ask us about it before registering! If any parents want to try our adult training, we would apply the same discount :)

Weather?

We will train in all types of weather as long as there are no safety concern for the athletes or coaches. When the temps are high, bring sand socks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and plenty of water. When the temps are low, bring sand socks (or any thick socks will do, we recommend doubling them up!), clothing layers, beanies, and gloves. For rainy days, a change of clothes and a hat are useful items to keep in your bag. If lightning or rain is severe, we will cancel practice for everyones safety.

Tournaments?

If you want to compete in tournaments, there are local events almost every weekend throughout the year. We will run some as well! It is up to you to find a partner, register, and attend tournaments. We will have coaches at some of the bigger events but typically beach volleyball is a self coached sport. Parents and coaches cannot give feedback to the players except during timeouts and between games.  Many of the local events will be qualifiers for national championships. You will likely need another membership in order to sign up, for example: p1440, AAU, AVP America, Rox,or USAV. Those memberships do not come with your Silver Beach registration. If you do qualify for a national championship (way to go!!) it will be up to you to make travel plans and attend. Championships normally happen throughout July, and mostly in California. Our coaches will be in attendance whenever possible!

Recruiting?

College Beach Volleyball is providing opportunities all across the country, at every level, for athletes to continue playing after high school. Scholarships are available, and our coaching staff will help recruitable players find a home in college. Contact benny@silverbeachvolleyball.com for more information.

We never want finances to be a reason that someone has to miss out, so please email katie@silverbeachvolleyball.com for more information on financial assistance programs
